Summary
Dr. Larry Noblick has worked at
Montgomery Botanical Center since 1994. He formerly worked as
their Collections Manager/Palm Specialist and is now their dedicated
Palm Biologist. He is a botanical explorer who has brought several new palm species back to Montgomery.
Larry has worked on plant or floristic surveys, collections management,
herbarium curation, and general research projects.
Larry’s academic activity has been in plant taxonomy and systematics
and plant conservation focused on palms from South America, especially those related to the coconut
palm.
