It recounts their backgrounds, the early years in Dade County as Colonel Montgomery built his Coconut Grove Palmetum estate, the development of Fairchild Tropical Garden, and the launching of The Montgomery Foundation, Nell’s memorial to her late husband that was to become Montgomery Botanical Center.
